Procedure Flow

Assuring a quick, simple, seamless procedure

The ActiGraft system provides single-use components needed for the safe and rapid preparation of Whole Blood Clot (WBC) from a small sample of a patient's own peripheral blood.

Drawing blood into a tube for ActiGraft preparation

1 Draw blood from the patients; fill each 10 ml tube.

Puncturing the ActiGraft coagulation mold

2 Puncture the coagulation mold twice with the safety needle; discard the safety needle.

3 Ensure a slight space is left between the two punctures.

Attaching the second safety needle to the syringe

4 Attach 2nd safety needle to syringe.

Drawing blood from two tubes into the syringe

5 Draw 20 ml of blood from the two tubes into the syringe.

6 Inject the blood into the coagulation mold through one of the punctures.

7 Clean and seal the two punctures.

8 Mix the contents vigorously for 20 seconds.

9 Allow at least 8 minutes for coagulation.

10 Secure gauze while gently removing the Tyvek backing.

Loosening the ActiGraft clot with the plastic ring

11 Loosen the clot from the edges with the plastic ring.

12 Apply the clot to the wound bed with the gauze facing outward.
